GCFScape Doesn't work

When i installed the newest version of GCFScape 1.8.6 and i try to open a .VPK file, i got an error saying "Cannot continue completion of code because object MSVCP100.dll was not found.".

Download and install the needed runtime.

Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package, both the x86 and x64

So, in other words GCFScape isn't compatible with Windows 10?

Users must install these extras themselves.

DirectX Redist June 2010
NET and ASP Frameworks
Visual C Runtimes

Just Google the runtime I listed above and install it. The reboot and try the game again.

Reboot and try what game? I only want to use GCFScape to open .VPK files.

Honestly i don't get what you're saying, all i'm asking for is help with GCFScape, and not something that's way too complicated for me to do.

Install the runtime I listed in order to have the needed DLL files to run your program. Not hard at all.

Well NET and ASP Frameworks doesn't have an installer for Win10, to install this, go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on/off and enable them, then click ok and click get from Windows Updates. When it's done installing those, restart Windows.

Then go to that folder, click DXSETUP.EXE to install.

Visual C Runtimes 2010

* tick boxes for X86 and X64 after clicking Download, install both, reboot when done.

Both list the required installs

.NET Framework - GCFScape is written in C++ .NET (using Visual C++ 2010 SP1) and as such requires the .NET Framework 4.0 (or later) and the Visual C++ 2010 SP1 runtime to run

Once you install those VC Runtimes. Reboot the PC and go click Check for Updates in Windows Updates and see of there are any patches offer for those runtimes. Ensure dot-NET Framework is up to date also.
