How do I check if my motherboard is compatible with my GPU?
I've heard it has something to do with BIOS. My current BIOS is "lenovo 9hkt43aus" and the GPU I am planning on buying is a GTX 1650/1650 Super.

Rest of the specs:
i5-2400
8gb ram 800mhz
GT 1030 2gb gddr5
1tb hdd

It should work fine.
Just buy the card, plug it in, get drivers, and play.

But in the event it doesn't work, you should update your BIOS to the latest version.

You need to check the lenovo site for compatibility.
Either look up the model number of the pc or search via the serial number.

With an i5-2400 you are wasting your time anyway.

wasting time? Not at all. 1080p ultra @60fps on almost every AAA game.

If your board is working fine with aNY gtx 7xx or 9xx series gpu already, anything up to the current ones shouldn't be of any issues.

What do you plan on playing?
As that cpu is very poor, 8gb ram is not really enough in many situations, and all HDDs are dirt slow.

See if you can get a used 2600 or 2600K cpu cheap, see what the max supported ram that board supports and get a sata SSD and then clean install Win10 64bit 1909 to the ssd. Use the hdd for general storage.

What Power Supply do you have? If unsure look at the sticker on the psu inside your case, it will be on one of the sides of the actual psu with all the info on it.

Your definition of AAA must be incorrect.

I have an i7-2600 and my mate has an i5-2500k. And with a gt 1030. No way. Not even with a 1650.

And if you want confirmation -

1030 is a media card, yes it can run games but nothing remotely demanding will ever run well or smooth on that low end gpu.

Even a 1650 would be easily 4x as powerful if not more.

With the new GPU I'd like to play R6, Rocket League, Apex Legends, F1 2019 (maybe 2020), Euro truck Simulator 2...

That site is COMPLETELY false. It says I can get up to 114fps in R6, although i barely get 60fps on low settings

Yup, I'd also be fine with a 1650.

Lets get back to the main question. Am I going to be fine with a GTX 1650S on this motherboard?

Again, any gpu you choose would work fine. It's not as if a certain core model of gpu is not going to work in your motherboard. Either all gtx 16xx would work or none at all.
