I dont think the cpu was seated incorrectly, I’m going to try replacing the ram and see if thats the issue. I know I did not touch the pins accidentally. The only thing I can think of is when I was placing the cpu I gently placed it down and gave it a wiggle (as per the video I watched stated) Lets say theres an issue with the cpu, wouldnt it be not working properly? When I do a benchmark test, everything works flawlessly expect the RAM of course.... But I’ll contact you in the future in case none of the aforementioned solutions work.

cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here
ram mhz x2 = ddr #
Ok but that doesn't make much sense. The lowest ddr4 goes is 2133 which comes out to 1067 x2 (the ram speed that CPUZ would show you)
Where are you seeing 800mhz?
If xmp does not work, either that ram isn't good on that board, or you need to first update the board to latest bios to patch update it to where that ram can work properly.
If this is an AM4 motherboard, 3200 might just never work in some systems and may need to be changed to 2800 or 2933, after you apply the xmp setting.
Easy to build, yes. Easy to pick good parts, no. This is why should always ask and do your research before buying if unsure. AM4 boards especially are very picky about ram.
My motherboard is MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC. When I open bios it says 800mhz. Everything was compatible on pcpartpicker, I even had a buddy look over it and nothing seemed incompatible. I have new ram sticks coming in later today. I’m gonna try those and if I still experience the same issue then I’ll do the bios update.
see if you can manually set your ram timings and voltages
pull a ram chip and see what voltage they have listed on your ram chip first
its usually on a sticker on the one side of the dimm along with the timings
No need to remove the ram. Go look at the profiles in cpuz
And pointless.
