will avoid driver and tdp issues
2060s is slower than the 5700 xt and it costs more? Drivers get updated over time.
nvida costs more
nvidia is lower tdp, power draw and heat
drivers do get updated, but amd has troubles with the xt gpus and drivers
each card has problems with different driver versions
look it up on amd gpu forums
Im not spending £50 more for a gpu thats slower, tdp and powerdraw isnt a concern of mine I'd rather get a faster card for a cheaper price.

Pause at 7:40 as I run 1440p
i may be picking one up myself soon as an upgrade from my 6 gig GTX 1060
and i have seen quite a few good reviews of the sapphire pulse card , as well as gigabyte cards
I have a 5700XT (Red Dragon) so I'm a bit biased, but it's been a great gpu for me, and I do recommend it. Just stay away from the garbage ones. Hardware Unboxed did a very good video on cheap 5700XT's.

The Asus Tuf 5700XT was so bad it got its own video.

And the Asus Strix wasn't much better (out of the box, anyway):

there are many open box 5700/xt at microcenter for discounted prices
id double check the scan return policy, in case the card does not perform as expected or drivers are unstable
I live in the uk thus why I linked scan... The 2060 super starts at £450 for a decent one whereas the 5700 xt averages at £400. £50 is a considerable amount seeming its 12.5% more for worse performance.
you can also look for a used 1080

but he only ships in the usa
and sorry i missed the ops link was for the UK region ..DOH sorry man
There were no GPU issues with XT cards, and all the launch driver issues are long time solved, unlike NVidia who manage to break GTAV every other driver update.
This.
LOL. Basically same price as the 5700XT but only better performing in a few games, but the 5700XT destroys it in most titles.

The latest Adrenalin 2020 drivers have been completely stable... so all he actually has to do is install the latest driver at the moment.
