RTX 2060S Or RX 5600 XT?
I can update the BIOS, its using the old one. My question is how far do you think it could be overclocked? Should I go with an RTX 2060S?

Card in question:

2060S is better than the 5600XT, 5600XT is closer to 5700 and non-super 2060

my opinion: dont overclock...pay a little more for a faster gpu. why? it is cooler and more silent mainly.

Why dont you just go with the RX 5700 XT? Its the same price as the RTX 2060 Super and performs nearly as good as the 2070 super

2060S is better imo, and it has 8GB VRAM.
You'll want 8GB VRAM over 6GB.

Am I missing something? The 2060 Super costs significantly more than the 5600 XT, you might as well get the 5700 XT.

RX 5600 XT - £280-300
RTX 2060 Super - £400+
RX 5700 xt - £350-400+

Yes, this. Or a 5700 I guess. Although prices for the 5700XT took a big jump in the last few weeks, at least here (Canada)...probably due to our oil-based currency. This is a good deal if you're set on the 2060 Super though (about $358USD):

yeah, you're missing a little thing called currency exchange and different country

The 2060S is $100 or so more than the 5600XT
But its also slightly more powerful

Okay and the 2060 super is the same price as the 5700 xt on newegg.
Why wouldnt you go with the 5700 xt, sure the drivers arent as good but that can be fixed over time, other than that its a much stronger card.

It will cost him exactly $93.45 CDN more for the 2060 Super (after shipping, GST and rebate). I would get the Super for the extra RAM and increased performance personally, but the 5600XT that the OP lists is a good deal too. The 5700 is roughly equivalent to the 2060 Super, but the Palit card is the better deal right now.

Not on Newegg.ca it isn't, not right now anyways. It used to be a few weeks ago at which point the 5700XT was a no-brainer now that they've mostly fixed the AIB and driver issues.

I just clicked on your linked and searched up the 5700 xt, both the 2060 super and it are both go for around 600 CAD?
Otherwise the cheap 2060 supers go for around 500 but theyre crap and are cheap cards and arent worth buying.

If money is an issue just go with the 5600 xt.

No our currency hasn;t dropped that hard. Being a Canadian is still hard though, it feels like you spend a mint for computer components.

$0.77 to 0.69 in a month is a pretty good drop, but not a crash, no. It's creeping back up now. I was buying DCS modules for about 1.375 on the dollar a few months ago. The most recent one was at 1.465 (through PayPal) which jumps the price quite a bit. I guess they're just screwing us then. The 5700XT was as low as $469 a few months ago. Now the cheapest one is just under $600.

Uh, no. The 2060 Super Palit card in my link is $499 CDN. Palit is an excellent card. Not sold in the states though apparently:

id have to say no
With current and future games you'll want a GPU with at least 8GB VRAM, 6GB is "okay", but even that sometimes isnt enough.. 4GB just isnt worth it these days

Your PC specs would be helpful though, especially the powersupply.
