But, have a look at the AOC C24G1, or as someone mentioned before the MAG24C.
Grab whichever is cheapest, they're both great.
Good colours and contrast, low response time, low input lag, both have Freesync.
there are very little settings in most games that effect cpu usage.
even at low settings your fps isn't going to go up by alot if any. you aren't going to hit 144 in anything other then esports titles.
i don't get, what you don't understand about this. it's very simple.
your cpu is actually pretty weak for todays games
(try playing ACO or any of the recent battlefield games. you wont even see an average of 60fps.)
going for a 144hz monitor and expecting anything other then games such as fortnite.siege, world of tanks. overwatch etc to to reach that target of 144fps is going to leave you disappointed
even older games wont hit 144 because they rely on *mostly singlecore performance and clock speeds. something that 3200g doesn't have.
im not sure why you seem to think otherwise when there's hundreds of videos showing you
that cpu isn't up to snuff for 144 on anyhting other then esports games.
don't take this as i think the 3200g is a bad cpu, great for budget rigs for people that don't have enough for a decent gpu. as the onboard gpu is abit faster then a gt 1030 and you can upgrade later down the line.
Quadcores don't do well these days.
But, the games he's playing, don't take that much CPU power, so it doesn't matter to much.
Though, I would say a CPU upgrade is in order, sometime soon.
just explaining the facts to you.
as you seem to think that your cpu is capable of things it isn't.
i already linked you to a monitor earlier. no?
there is no need to act like a child.
anyway I would recommend the VG248QE[www.computeralliance.com.au] for the best budget choice for max FPS on a TN panel
and the C24G1[www.computeralliance.com.au] if you want a bit of change with a bit more color / contrast performance and dont mind a 1500R curved VA panel, at the expense of a bit more input lag
