Can I use ram-sticks with different latency?

Yes, your RAM will be clocked down to the slowest speed.

Could there possibly be any problems caused by this?

Yes, a few, it will depend on your current RAM config and what RAM you are planning to add.

There is always a small chance that system stability can be affected.

If you are currently running your memory in dual channel and are adding a single RAM module that new module will not run in dual channel and is only ~half as fast as the RAM which is.

I'm on dual channel right now, and I am planning to add another 2*4GB RAM Sticks. The Voltage and everything else is the same, except the latency.

So I should be fine?

Might work if your motherboard automatically underclocks the fastest ram to match the slower ram, or some issues might occur, such as blue screens...

You could configure ram timings in the bios but that's really advanced stuff and complicated

Should be fine yes.

If possible buy RAM identical to what you are using now.

How can I check if it does?

It is quite the same

Crucial CT51264BD160BJ (planning to buy)
Crucial CT51264BD160BJ.C8F (Right now in my system)

I got a little bit confused whether its the same or not.

You should always prefer to buy RAM sticks with the same clock speed. But modern drivers are build to deal with such things. Having diffrent RAM sticks should most likely work just fine.

Kind regards
