Will the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U's integrated AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics handle VR?
Specifically Half-Life: Alyx on low settings?

Absolutely not. The absolute minimum GPU you're looking at for VR is a GTX 1660 or 1660 SUPER.

You can't just wing it with cheap, low end hardware because the experience would be choppy and horrendous, not to mention pretty detrimental to health.
