Intel 9th Gen chipset?
I have an 8086k i7 I wanted to know is there a new chipset for the 9th and onwards now besides the LGA 1151?

No. 8th gen and 9th gen use the same chipset. It will work with Z370, but you might need to update BIOS for the 9th CPU. It will work with Z390 without need update BIOS.

Also, the 10th is still too new.

6xxx-7xxx are 1151 v1
8xxx-9xxx are 1151 v2

look up the mobo to see what cpus are compatible

Intel Core 8th gen. CPU is compatible with either Z370 or Z390 Motherboard, as long as you update your BIOS.

Z370 and Z390 both supports 8th and 9th gen. If using Z370, update to latest bios before putting a 9th gen cpu on there.
