Xbox One Wireless Controller shuts down PC when it's connected?

Hi all, my Xbox One Wireless Controller shuts down my PC whenever it connects to my PC, like immediate shut down, I would prefer to use a controller to play some games, so any help with this would be much appreciated! I have the most up to date drivers on my controller, as that was a question asked of me via Microsoft support (For all the help they were, lol)

Actually it was working just fine for months before randomly happening, so no, I dont think my power supply is the issue

look for a key/combo set to shut down
