The 960 has more performance than a 1050, so there is really no choice.
More VRAM and more performance.

GTX 960 4GB is about equal to GTX 1050 Ti.

whichever you can get cheapest I suppose, they're about equal in performance.

The 960 4 gb. Some games require more than 2 gb vram or you get graphics glitches.
