If the leaks are accurate, the 3060 with 10.2 tflops will match the PS5, while the 3070 at 13.6 tflops will soundly beat the Xbox. The 3080 at 18.4 tflops will blow it out of the water, and the 3080 Ti at a mind-boggling 28.7 tflops is almost triple the PS5. "What about the cost?" you might ask. Well, it's looking like the new generation of GPUs is actually going to be cheaper compared to the last. This is the situation at the launch of the new console generation.

And yet the bad news for consoles does not end.[www.notebookcheck.net] According to this article, it is likely that in 2021 Nvidia will follow up with ANOTHER new generation of GPUs built in the 5nm process. It's too early to say exactly but a rough estimate would be another 40% increase in power, at slightly higher prices. This means that the lowest-end 4060 will comfortably beat both consoles, while the other GPUs will be ahead by an order of multiples (4070 = 2xPS5, 4080 = 3xPS5, 4080 Ti = over 4xPS5). All of this within 1 year of the launch of the new consoles.

I play platformers with keyboard without issues. The only games i play with gamepad are fighters . Evrything else(action adeventure both fps amd tps, action rpg and platformers) i play all with keyboard and mouse. Just weeks ago i finished Yooka lay lee and the impoislbr lair just with keyboard. But since 20006 a xbox controller is connected to my pc all the time. In 1997 when i was just 10 years old i played sonic 1, sonic 2, sonic 3, sonic knuckles, and sonic 3d on my first then pc a 486 and i finished them all with just keyboard. On Sepetember i played all spyro dragon trilogy with keyboard and didnt have any problems. But as you see iam trained since i was a kid to be ablet to do that. One year and ahalf ago i played the crash bandicoot trilogy again all with keyboard from start to finish. Just like from March until now i played Streets of rage 4,. DOOM ETERNAL, DOOM 64, RESIDENT EVIL 3 REMAKE from start to finsh all with keyboard and mouse.

Pc gaming compared to consoles to get the same quality can be very expensive and most of the people on here don’t have the pc hardware to compete with current gen consoles, never mind next gen.

PC gaming to get console quality is not very expensive tnot at all. That because consoles play at low settings while even a low enc pd that costs just 800 euros(Ryzen 3700 16 gb 3200 mhz gtx 1650 1 tb hdd) can run max settings 1080p 60 and 1440p max settings 30 fps and with much better graphics than consoles. I have done countles upgrades since 1996 that i got my first pc until now and i upgrade when it stops running at max settings or when it breas down but i can tell you that it never was very expensive. As you see from my pc specs i upgraded cpu ram mothberoard and hdd in 2017. You know how much it costed then? 920 euros. I havent upgraded graphics card since 2014, and it still runs max sertings 1440p 30 fps on evry game and in simple games like mortal kombat 11, streets of rage 4, yooka laylee and impossible lair e.t.c even 60 fps. Now tell me. Can a ps3 or a xbox one that was released in 2013 and 2014 run at max settings 1440p 30 fps current games? No they cant. They run low settings 1080p 30 fps. When ps5 and xbox series x releases my pc will continue running the games well as it does now. ps4 and xbox one? NO ! because games will stop comong for them as we have already some games announced but not for them like Hellblase 2, The medium, Godfall e.t.c! What will i need to make my pc more powerful than playstation 5 and xbox series x? Get a better graphics card like a RTX 3070 or better that will cost just 500 euros as the current RTX 2070 SUPER costs that is also more powerful than xbox seriex x? See ? it is not very expensive to get a pc better or on par with consoles.

Well, most console games run around medium settings, as many point out to you shredder, just because you can set your game to max settings at 1440p doesn't mean its playable, we've all seen your videos where your games cannot maintain 30fps, usually in the 20-25fps range in empty parts of a map etc.

So consoles at medium at 60fps is going to be a far better and more enjoyable experience than your laggy poop show, so please could you finally stop talking so much rubbish about your pc's performance as we all know it doesn't have it and you need a new cpu if you even looked at a new high end gpu else you'd loose most of its performance, but hey, please go on and tell us how you can afford everything, just, haven't bought anything for, what, 3 years now (1080ti)? Along with how bad consoles are... The truth is, I'd rather play on a console at a smooth frame rate than on your setup stuttering to no end.

Hell maybe one day you will realise your pc isn't meant for max settings 1440p and you'll drop to medium / high 1080p and notice how much better overall it is at 60fps over 20.

Hardware means nothing if the Software or Platform continues to run like Garbage on the Hardware...

When i change graphics card evrything wil be running at 1440p max settings 60 fps. Yes i havent ugpraded for 3 years(upgraded cpu ram motherboard and hdd in March 2017) but with just 500 euros(RTX 2070 SUPER) i can run evrything at max settings 1440p 60 fps. I can get it at any time the reason i didint got it is because iam waiting for better ray tracing support and perfomance on next gen graphics cards as i already told you. Xbox one x dosent have better perfomance than my pc or if it has it will be because it runs on low settings whch meakes the graphics terrible compared to mine pc at max settings 1440p. And if you saw the my videos than you mus have realized that the perfomance is not realy that bad as you say. But anyway today is the annoucement of RTX 3000 so i just wait. Mine pc can also run evrything at medium 1440p 60 fps but why would i do that?

You can't see any difference between consoles and gaming PC lol, claiming consoles are good, they are garbage, also competitive players play on PC for a reason.
You need Intel high end CPU for tournaments not a crappy AMD Jaguar which is worse than a Intel G4560, you have 500 games but you don't play cause you see not able to use keyboard nad mouse, for that reason you defend consoles which are made for CASUAL gamers.
PRO gamers play on PC but this requires Skill, if you don't have you better play with a gamepad with assisted aim like you use to do.
