As already said you should look at your thermal paste and mounting pressure.
I have taken the aio off 3x now and reapplied paste. The heat picked up when I added the evo 970 ssd.
Also the 94c is only spikes, but I agree, its not to my liking. Gonna check the aio once more then test with my hyper evo212 and if that does a good job cooling, Ill just get that Fugly Noctua D 15.
My H100i GTX is pushing about 5 years old, so maybe its dying?
You're talking a degree at most difference.
But, run something like Aida64 for half an hour (since you have an AIO, it will take that long to heatsoak, vs 5 mins with an air cooler), and tell us the temperature reached.
Heres some helpful information to sort of remove any doubt you might have.

Hi I ran the test, I let my pc first idle on for 30 minutes then ran the test

I was reading emails and watched 2 youtube videos while the test ran
Any thoughts on temps?
Just make sure you check the radiator of the AIO every few months to make sure it's clean.
I am thinking of buying the Noctura DH D15 to have on standby just in case
Why?
My H100i GTX is 5 plus years old, and if I want, I can use it on my back up pc, replacing its stock cpu cooler(its an old fx 8350)
The case I bought because my case isnt know for best air temps and is also almost 10 years old. And the h115i RGB Pro XT isnt listed as compatible on PCPartPicker.
So a new case and new aio that will be under warranty will let me sleep better at night.
It wasnt cheap, at $270 total, but it beats having to replace the cpu in a worse case situation.
Thanks again all!
Picked you for best answer, since you kept coming back to help me :) Have a safe weekend!
But, did you get the mesh or glass version of the H500?
The Cool Master H500 RGB, Mesh version. comes with mesh and glass if I dont want the mesh front., at the cost of a few degrees of heat
case https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DRVHBWK
cooler

And, the cooler is pretty decent. Though I can't speak to the actual performance of it. It should be better than what you've got.
Thanks again and yeah, the case has lasted 8 years , acting as home for my FX 6300, FX 8350 and I7 6700k and now the i7 9700k before I retire her.
The AIO was for my i7 6700k, and is pushing 5 years old. Some people told me to avoid them, they were bad or overpriced, but having paid $120 for a 5 year old aio, another $140 for another 5 years will work just fine for me. And since I am not OCing, it should do the job, Ill post a picture and update once I rebuild it-sometime after the 18th, damn covid has shipping so slow.
