Will a 2.5” SSHD fit to replace a 3.5” HDD?
I have a 3.5 inch HDD currently and I am looking to upgrade to a 2.5 inch SSHD. Will the 2.5 inch fit or will I have to get another 3.5 inch SSHD?
Thanks.

Mounting bracket adapters are cheap and easy to find.

Assuming the case doesn't have sliding, locking rails that will accommodate both sizes.

SSHD is a useless technological oddity.

you dont need mounting brackets, just use double sided foam tape to hold the laptop hdd
or dont use it, sshd is still slow drive but with ~8g ssd cache

get a 3.5in 7200rpm hdd with 128+mb cache

Use 3.5 inch 7200rpm hdd like WD black or red. Otherwise use 2.5 inch ssd if your motherboard lacks m2 slots.

Most modern PC Cases have hdd trays that allow both 3.5 and 2.5 inch mounting
