Max running temp alienware r3 17?
What is a good running temperature for the alienware r3 17? I'm playing world of warcraft on max graphics, and I'm running about 70c right now. Just curious what is a safe temperature for the laptop. It feels semi warm.

The CPU and GPU can both theoretically withstand temperatures of roughly 100 degrees Celsius. I wouldn't personally want it running that hot, for a number of different reasons. I would try to keep it below 85 degrees personally.

Thank you. So then 70-75 c is a fairly safe range in terms of a laptop at max graphics?

The laptop in question is known to run a bit hot, so I don't think those temperatures are anything unusual to be honest. It shouldn't cause any issues at those temps.

Unless its reaching 90*C+ you're fine.
But around 85*C and under is normal when running demanding games on Laptops.
