Undervolted CPU leads to reboot when playing a game after PC startup.
It was happening for awhile with -0.1V so I decide to go by -0.075V. Stress test for 6 minutes and started up Modern Warfare and runs fine and I got a performance boost out from it but when I start my PC up and go straight to the game, just in the main menu it reboots it self.

Specs :
GTX 1050 4GB
i5 7300HQ 2.5GHZ
16GB DDR4

Undervolting power efficient low-end mobile GPU? Really?
Well, good luck.

Why would you undervolt your CPU unless you want reduced temps or lower power consumption?

Also, do take note about the principle of silicon. If your CPU crashes your PC and reboots then the voltage you set it with is unable to be handled by the silicon quality. You need to try -0.05V since -0.075V to -0.01V.

Or better still, don't set an undervolt, at all if you want maximum stability.

EDIT: CPU*

I undervolted my CPU not my GPU. Used the Intel XTU program to do it.

If you go back to stock do you still have the same issue?

Nope but usually even at -0.05V it reboots when I go play Modern Warfare straight from startup. Do I leave my PC running for a bit then play?

Sure, if you enjoy getting reboots at random times you can do that. Leaving it running doesn't make it stable. That it worked the first time is just luck.

I mean it was stable yesterday but today it rebooted even at -0.075V

If working every other day is stable and reliable, I've got a car to sell you.

Solution: Don't undervolt

In my neck of the wood if you make a configuration change and that causes problems, and rolling it back solves it, the solution is clear. If you're married to undervolting and are determined to put up with the BS, then what's the question?

Yeah don’t listen to this guy. Undervolt can be very useful if your laptop is known to get hot pretty quickly.

Undervolt is like overclock. You need to find a stable level that doesn’t ♥♥♥♥ itself immediately.

Actually, what was your average temperature before you apply undervolt?
Asking the OP.

I Undervolted my Laptop CPU since October last year. No issue's on my end. And my temps dropped by 15c. I use Throttlestop.
