GA-Z170X-SOC FORCE That is by Gigabyte. The board was built for Overclocking.

Generally the best tend to be in the $200+ range but it is only a very small improvement over the ones in the 'budget' range.

Overclocking is a bit of luck. You could get a great baord, but the CPU may or may not overclock much. The question is - do you really need to spend the extra cash on the board?

Agreed. I particularly recommend the Z170S Sabretooth, it's got heavily reinforced caps and a lot of extra cooling gear - perfect for overclocking. It's pretty affordable as well.
