Radeon Pro 450 enough?
Is the Radeon Pro 450 enough to run games like DOOM and Just Cause 3, etc?

yes doom isnt that demanding you can probably run it at mid/high settings 60 fps 1920x1080 and just cause is old and also not that demanding on modern machines.

Really? I was expecting only 30fps in those games at 1920x1080.

What's your source?

there arent any benchmarks to be found on the internet yet but my potato laptop with the r5 m230 can run those games so I think that the Radeon Pro 450 can run these games fine. also its preformance is a bit lower than the 960m form nvidia and that gpu can run doom easy at 60 fps mid to high settings.

I'm thinking of aiming for the Pro 460 or Pro 455 as it's not upgradable and I'll be stuck with it for at least a year...
Just Cause 3 only runs at 48fps on the GTX 965M (non Ti) in High at 1920x1080.

There's a demo for Doom, so you can try it yourself.

The issue is that is OpenGL only and will not be a good representation of the final game as far as the engine goes. The final game (especially now that it is updated) OpenGL is much better; and also supports Vulkan, which would yield even better overall performance.

For new games at 1080p; you really want around 470/480 GPU.

There is no Pro 470/480...

I already own DOOM, just not a Radeon Pro 450,455,460.
