gigabyte ga-ab350m-ds3h motherboard goes into restart loop after exiting bios
encountered this issue while overclocking the ryzen 3 1200 that's in the board, i got it to 3.8ghz without changing voltage, while i was bumping up the clock speed after i would save and exit the bios the computer would go into a restart loop, shuts off, and turns back on, the only way to fix this is to switch off the power supply and wait around 1 seconds, switch it on and wait again, then i could turn it back on. the computer works perfectly otherwise but this behavior is concerning.
i also set the gskill ram to 3200mhz cause that's what the stick i bought is rated for.

Reset CMOS by removing the battery on the motherboard, make sure you wait 30 seconds minimum before putting it back in

then use bios to reset bios to defaults

I used to get issues like that with an older build ... and funny enough it was using Gskill sticks at stock CPU and RAM speeds.

Worst RAM I've purchased in a long time. Replaced the ram .. and the reboot loops stopped.

Plenty on google too..

Searched for "gskill ram and reboot loops"

check them out.

Will never touch that brand again.

It's not really related to brand, it's the IC maker. Ryzen absolutely hates Micron, has mixed feelings about SK Hynix, and loves Samsung. Most brands use all 3 in their kits.

As long as you follow the QVL for your motherboard, issues shouldn't arise.

You get that when your oc is too unstable to boot, you can just wait a minute and it should be loaded to the backup bios, if your board has one
