Corsair Force MP600 2TB worth to buy?
It is the fatest SSD now.I have a 4tb HDD and a tb.
My pc now
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME X370 PRO
CPU: RYZEN 7 1700
RAM:16 GB DDR4 3200MHZCL15
GPU: GTX 970 G1 GAMING
MONITOR: DELLP2416D 24'' 2560X1440 60 HZ IPS
HDD1: WD BLACK 4 TB
HDD2 : 1TB
I will get the ssd at the same time that i will change the graphics card but i will keep the cpu ram and motherboard. As it is the fatest ssd avalible and it costs the same as a RTX 2060 SUPER it is not that much expensive. So what do you think? Willi it be a good upgrafe for storage? This will bring total to 7 TB which is a lot.

Games don't even benefit really from any nvme drive. Sata or sata speed m2 is fast enough for all of that.

It's things like 4K, 8K video recording/editing where such speeds help greatly.

Ι κnow it and this is why i havent got a ssd yet. As my pc is now the only thing i need to upgrade is the graphics card nothing more.

The os will remain on the 1 tb hdd that i have since 2011. I will use the ssd only for games.
That is all wrong.

I tried Civ 5 on SSD vs HDD and there is no noticeable difference in startup. Game startup time is often blocked by unskippable logo animations for the publisher, developer, sponsor, engine, and other stuff.

But putting Windows on the SSD there was a noticeable difference. Not just all the benefits of having the OS on an SSD, but because save data is also stored on the OS drive in %DOCUMENTS%\My Games, and loading a save doesn't get blocked waiting for every company involved with the game shoving its logo in my face.

SATA interface M.2*
FTFY.

It's not SATA speed, it literally is SATA, just like the 2.5 inch drives.

It will run like Gen3 but as gen 3 speeds are very fast you dont realy need the gen 4 speeds in games because loading times are very fast even with gen 3. And from now on most ssd will be gen 4 only .
What? So what does it matter?
But a 3.0 drive now, or even just plain SATA3, put your OS on the drive, and then enjoy it.
Then, upgrade to a 4.0 (Rather, 5.0, since news says that 4.0 will be quite short lived) drive when they've worked all the kinks out, and actually gotten a decent increase over SATA speeds?

It will cost mroe than on a pci 4.0 motherboard the loading times are 1 or 2 seconds faster comapared to pci 3.0. It will be very fast even on pci 3.0. Even now that i have only HDD all games load on seconds.
Sorry, does time pass differently for you?
WAIT, THAT'S IT!!! I'VE FIGURED IT OUT! That's why low FPS doesn't bother you, time passes differently for you.
So we see 10 FPS, you see 100 FPS, we have insane loading times, it's only a few seconds for you.

Hate to break it to you mate, but games aren't only stored on the drive you allocate them to.
They also have save files and such on OS drives.
So, you're going to have a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ stored on your HDD, which will bring loading to a grinding halt.

After i get the SSD i will stop installing games on HDD. I will think then what i will do about the OS. Maybe i might move it to SSD or not i will decide then. But i will get the bestSSD that will be avaliable at that time when i change the graphics card.

If you want raw speed for the system as a whole, OS should be installed on the NVMe SSD with the most capacity as more capacity usually leads to higher performance.

Now that most companies have closed due to the flu the release of better cards will be delayed even more. Not only that but because my pc technician works at hospital iam not risking to call him on my lair just to upgrade the pc. Which means that if somethng breaks down(probably the graphics card as it is the oldest part of my pc) during this time i will need to find someone else to put it on my pc. That the wort time to upgrade pc! However i read that pc sales have gone up a lot worldwide because many people to pass time while staying at home decided to start playing games, people that were not gamers and had very old pcs that used for other things and not games are now becoming gamers as a way to have fun while staying home and this has increazed at crazy high pc sales/pc parts but also playstation sales too worldwide.

OS should already be on an ssd. Put a clean os, or do a disk clone of your os drive to nvme ssd. Use m2 sata or old sata3 for ssd to house games.

It hasn't effected the tech companies s much as you think.

I’m confused. Didn’t you say a while ago you built pcs or that company you work for turn to you for tech advice. Yet you need a technician to put a new gpu in your pc?
