I can't game without my laptop unplugged.
So I recently found out about a weird issue with my laptop, where my connection to games would disconnect when I play with my laptop adapter PLUGGED IN. For example, playing League unplugged went completely fine and smooth until my laptop went low on batter. I plugged my laptop adapter into the socket, and boom, hit with an Attempting to Reconnect. If i unplugged it, it would come right back as if nothing happened. So how do i fix this? I have an MSI GF63 Thin 9rcx and I've had it for the past month and a half. This never happened until Monday this week (3/30) What do i do to fix this? It should be noted that doing everything else while plugged in is perfectly fine. No connection issues and no lagging. Not during browsing, or Netflix, or youtube, etc, only when I game.

Run powercfg /batteryreport and check the log in system32.

And check the health level with hwmonitor or batteryinfoview.

As a battery gets older and starts wearing down, current can begin to fluctuate and lead to instabilities like video or audio stuttering or a wireless signal drop.

Of course, the obvious stuff like moving away from the microwave or water pipes or the router getting old and the signal weakening on that end should be investigated as well.

ive almost always had my battery options as high performance. and yes i do have NVIDIA Graphics.
@Hugsie Muffinball, but would that affect network connectvitiy tho? Cause the minute i plug my laptop adapter back into my laptop it just cuts out and disconnects.

wow... thats very strange, so, when you plugged in your charger and only in-game did the connection drop?
do you have guarantee yet?
Maybe malware, but rarely is it!

Yea i pretty much guarantee it. I just finished an ARAM game of league and plugging in my laptop cuts connection. Unplugged allowed me to play the whole game

Just to clarify. This happens with both wired and wireless network connection, or only to wi-fi? Do you have lan cable to test it out?

Okay Update. Cord Connected and Ethernet connected the game runs fine. Remove the ethernet, but keep the cord connected, and i disconnect. unplug the cord, and go off of battery power, game runs fine. I no longer have a clue what to think about this issue.
