Also RGB lighting is usually powered via sata/molex power connector or internal usb header on mobo.
USB is used to connect to iCUE. Without that connection, you can't customise the RGB lighting and it will be stuck on RGB Puke Mode.
I used to have the H115i RGB Platinum, I think it still requires SATA for powering the LED, but USB is for customising that and also controlling the AIO functionality in general. The CPU_FAN connector is only there to tell the system that there is a cooler, it serves no other function so you can't actually control the pump in BIOS. The RGB Platinum coolers REQUIRE iCUE for 100% functionality.
If CPU_FAN is not detected, then it's probably not plugged in correctly or at all.
