Which PSU did you get?
So far, so good.
same crash
all cables swapped with the new ones
fml
im going to re-do drivers one last time. if it still crashes, im sending it back. (the gpu)
When installing the driver -
Driver only
Custom install
Deselect everything but PhysX
Reboot to be safe
Go into the NVIDIA CP and turn off the Shader Cache hit Apply
Test your games
The only options i get in custom are “Graphics Drivers” and “HD audio Driver”. No option relating to PhysX.
Oh and also “Perform Clean Installation” check box.
are you sure you're installing the right driver package?
and Clean Installation only defaults the NVIDIA CP options, so technically it isnt a "clean install" as most people would think
If you didnt select enable DDU to remove PhysX in its settings that may be why, it wasnt uninstalled.
BooteD it up and PhysX was already ticked along with 3DTV and GFE
That was done when I wiped my PC and started from scratch.
Was doing more searching around the net and came across a thread telling people to install a program called "AIO 210". It downloads programs that I guess were missing from my PC. Sounds dodgy, I know. But since then, I haven't had a single crash.
Things installed were the likes of....
Microsoft Visual C++ 20XX Redistributables (A bunch of those)
MS Silverlight
MS .NET Framework
Java
Adobe Flash/Shockwabe players
Since then I've been running all the crashy games with no problems. I'll continue to fiddle around and see if the problem is solved or I'm just getting really lucky.
Never enabling DX12 again.
I use DX12 whenever available with my GTX1070 and no problems.
If you do another win 10 clean install try just loading bare min programs ie drivers and drivers no weirdass ♥♥♥♥ and see if you can get your nvidia gpus working.
So a recent thread came to mind
Are you using an HDMI or DP cable?
I was reminded that a faulty or loose cable can cause crashing and the like as well
Just something to think about
