You can build slightly better for around the same price.

Get another $125 off and go for it.

Whats a more reasonable price for that pc? 580?

As of now, the specs aren't that bad. But it would be better to spend some more money and build ur own PC, than having to upgrade your PC later on because u need a stronger CPU/GPU and spend money again.

Your friend is asking more for his used machine then what these parts are worth new.

For the same money you can build a new PC with a much more powerful CPU, a modern motherboard and more storage.

Ok well i kinda need more than just a CPU. If my card was still working i would be using that.

Ok well this is calculated from SEK to Dollar. Swedish money that would be 6000kr 3000k+ is the graphics card worth in the store.

It's hard for us to make a judgement since prizes might be completely different in your country. But if my friend would sell me that rig for 580$, it would be a good deal for him!

Yea could be true but then i need to know with parts works together, how much watt i can use or need so i dont bottleneck anything. And so on. Im not that good at computer building and chosig parts.

I didn't know much either untill i build my first rig. Pcpartspicker is a good way to find compatible parts, and there is a LOT of youtube vids about building a PC. So you should be alright.

I looked up for used parts for my first rig, at the end of the day i had a used CPU and a used GPU for like 50% less then new price. Those parts never failed on me and it is a great way to build a budget PC.

I also estimated the fair price in the 400-500 range. Also it feels more like 3 yrs old.

So if you (all) was going to buy it, how much would you pay? In dollars. 50% of the current price is JUST the GPU in Sweden.
