!!Doom eternal is the first game it dont let me choose higher textures than medium!!
Should i get worried?
I set evryrhing else to ultra nightmare and with textures on medium it runs 1440p 60 fps. Or i can put the monitor resolution to 1920x1080 and then it let me put textures to high while evrything else ultra nightmare. What i noticed is that while my monitor is 1440p that if put it on 1920x1080 and textures on high the game looks a bit better than native 2560x1440 and textures on medium while evryting else on ultra nightmare. What would do if this happend to your pc?
pc is
CPU: RYZEN 7 1700
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 3200MHZCL15 GS KILL RIP JAWS
GPU: GTX 970 G1 GAMING
MONITOR: DELLP2416D 24'' 2560X1440 60 HZ IPS
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS PRIME X370 PRO
HDD1: WD BLACK 4 TB
HDD2: 1 TB
PSU: CORSAIR 750M 750 WATT

Dude it’ll be locked. Also game debate are known to be quite inaccurate in comparison. No matter was resolution they will be locked, if I recall. Also, according to game debate, I shouldn’t even be opening like 50% of the game.

2. OP literally said initially that he couldn't go above medium in the settings at 1440p, so Autumn said:

This is something people would play game with me when I was look for a new car back at college. I would love to heard another user have Doom Eternal with GTX 970 and say the exactly same thing.

Off-topic: I played Deus Ex Mankind with GTX 680 while I maxed settings everything, it is really slower and lag due to not enough VRAM. I knew GTX 680 is really old, but I need to focus on fixing my truck first.

But there must be a way to disablw the vram limiti like in DOOM. They will find a way iam sure of it!

to be fair though a 970 isnt *that* bad...

I use a 960 -4gb model in my secondary rig the GF uses and push 1440p with it. I wouldnt ask it to push the new Doom at 1440p max settings, I'm not stupid, but I have no doubt if shredder would compromise a bit on setting he would have it running fine on a 970.

But he does need to accept no more top end settings. Specailyl with the .5gb gimp.
