I had this issue before. I used a tool called DDU to remove existing driver and GFE.
Downloaded and installed newest driver from nvidia.com/drivers

are you sure you have an nvidia gpu?

specs?

post a cpuz validation link
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here

Why? Because only Radeon is allowed to have driver issues?

Yea there's literally a sticker on my laptop that says "NVIDIA" Geforce GTX
Also, my gpu is gtx 1050 (kinda mediocre ;-;) so I'm very sure it's from Nvidia
you need the laptop gpu driver
and amd/intel igpu driver (whatever igpu it has also)

get the drivers from the laptop mfg site (to make sure you have the correct ones)
then latest from chipset mfgs (amd/intel/nvidia/realtek/ect..)
Try doing it without not through geforce experience

I'd prefer faulty drivers over faulty hardware any day.

I almost forgot to install the laptop version, thanks!

Thank you so much! :)
Laptops = wipe out all their oem drivers by unistalling them from Programs and Features. Reboot as needed and install official ones from the chipset makers. As oem drivers can't be updated via the official ones like from Intel, Nvidia, etc.

Also don't use GFE, wipe each driver using DDU each time you wish to change versions.
