.NET Framework errors
Logged on today, yet another issue with my system. I log on and I get two boxes, one saying .NET Framework error, saying something went wrong with a Razer Synapse file, so yeah I can't open that. Also, Origin doesn't open up anymore, as it has issues with .NET Framework. I just wanna know, how do I fix this? I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Razer Synapse and Origin, but the issue still persists. I uninstalled the latest bad Windows Update, but it's still happening. Yes I have tried to disable and re-enable .NET Framework, still doesn't work.

Help?

Uninstall everything to do with .NET Frameworks and Visual C Runtimes. Then reboot and reinstall them. Most likely a .net database file got corrupted.

it appears I can delete Visual C runtimes but I can't uninstall .NET Frameworks? There is nothing to do with .NET Frameworks in uninstall list.

In Win10 you add/remove Frameworks via Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features On/Off. Go here and untick all boxes for NET and ASP Frameworks. Click ok to uninstall them, then reboot and add them again from the list.

Yea you need to reinstall all the Visual C Runtimes as well. Different apps use a different one so it's best to install all of them...

2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017
Both the x86 and x64 of each.

Post the errors. They should be in a detailed log within Event Viewer, Windows Logs, Application...

Yea it's not .NET issue, something in your OS is screwed up. It's saying neither of those software can connect, thus can't start. If wiping those software (razer, origin) and reinstalling doesn't fix it, it's some sort of OS issue elsewhere. Net Framework isn't the issue though. It might appear to come from that since that's what those software runs off of.

Try launching CMD via the Run As Admin option. Then type
SFC /SCANNOW

And let it verify all the OS files.

The install might be fairly recent, but what Windows version/build are you on? As that might be part of the problem.

Press WINKEY+R
Type WINVER
Click OK

What does it show for version and build?

That all looks fine.
Have you updated everything via Windows Updates?

uninstalled the recent update because it causes boot issues, and yes i had the error even before uninstalling it. btw, did chkdsk. still happening.

Try uninstall the razer and origin softwares. Then redownload them from their official sites. Then install to a different folder and see if the issue still present.
