the r5 2600 does not have an igp, you need to use a dedicated gpu with it
Hello i have a seperate gpu and i tried resetting bios in different ways. I dont know what part am i doing wrong.
mobo, cpu/fan, gpu, 1 dimm, psu, no drives or usb devices
Also can someone explain me how to do this:
“Unplug the battery on the main board, then short-circuit the positive/negative terminal of the battery holder for about 1 minute, and then re-install the battery.”
How am i going to short circuit it? Am i supposed to do that with battery?

the jumper is below the sata ports
I decided to try that because i already tried the way it writes on the manual. Thanks for the effort to find that for me.
I tried that. Maybe it did reset who knows but there is still no signal.
I also mailed asus and they said they need me to send the board to check it. But i want to try everything i can before i do so...
the power button is nowhere near connected to the bios cap
power button tells the power latch to turn on only when the psu+ok line from the psu is high
ActualIy no... i couldnt find a gpu yet.i was going to start with that.
But i realized something else if it helps; My mobo s onboard leds(on top right) should lit in order like this on a normal start and each of them indicates something else: 1-dram(yellow) 2-CPU(red) 3-vga(white) 4-BOOT(yellow green)
I cant see the lights of 4 and 3 at all. It starts with 1 then 2 then 1 again and it stays 2 forever(!)
Also when all these stuff happening the standby light remains lit all the time.
So i suppose my gpu is okay, otherwise pc would make it to windows and stand by light would go off.(i guess)
One last thing; caps lock, scrl lock or numlock buttons on keyboard are not responding.(idk if it can tell us something
most likely thing to be bad
do you have another build to test the ram, gpu and psu?
So by the sound of it, the issue will cause the corresponding LED to remain lit. 2 would be DRAM right? And that's the only one that stays lit?
Have you tried only using 1 stick of ram at a time? Might be a bad stick of ram based off the LED. If it didn't work you could try another stick if you have more than one. Also could try another memory slot. Some motherboard are really picky about what slot gets used and others arent, but in case the slot went bad try another one.
Yeah i will try to send it back next week. And no currently i dont have such system to test...
2 is the CPU and thats the one that stays lit.
Btw yeah my mobo is picky about slots but my rams are in correct place but i did try with 1 stick only too just in case. No hope from there either.
I think sending back the board is my only choice now since i cant find any other test systems or parts.
This is the dumbest way for a pc to fail... i just pressed restart on the windows while there was nothing going wrong or anything that installed recently. There were just couple of Chrome tabs open.(this shouldnt have anything to do with it)
I will let you guys know about the RMA process or if i can find a solution, clue etc.
Hopefully that does it for you and the CPU isn't bad. Seems like a motherboard would be much more likely to fail than the CPU, but even still.
