Upgrade from GeForce gtx 960
I’m not sure if this is where I would say this but I’m currently running a GeForce gtx 960 and I’m planning on upgrading my computer. I was just wondering which graphics card you think is a good upgrade from a 960. Thanks

What cpu you got?

depends how much horsepower your cpu has and which monitors you have... anything above gtx 1060 6gb rx 580 8gb is a noticeable upgrade...

I'd say stick to RX 580/590, or Vega 56 if you can afford that one. Especially if you want to try Detroit: Become Human, it's gonna use Vulkan.

Depends. I personally would go for a cheap gtx 1660 ti (MSRP).

What's the rest of your PC, if you're still plugging away on a straight quad cpu and HDD / 8GB Ram then it changes things?

Off topic ^, Interesting little look see into RTX2080ti and ray tracing if you're interested.

A 960 should still be ok. What you should upgrade too depends on your other system components and budget. 1660, 1660 ti or 2060 might be some considerations. Looking at userbenchmark there's quite a bit of difference going from a 960 but the benchmarks don't seem to translate well into real world performance. A double speed bench mark score doesn't equal double real world performance/fps.

for fullhd = rx580 or 1660ti (better), for 1440p = rtx 2060/2070 or amd vega
