speed up BIOS loading time on MSI mbu?
so, back in september of last year I got a new PC, and straight up noticed that Windows(since it's installed to an ssd) boot's up in no-time, but still SSD speed obviously doesn't affect BIOS loading, so BIOS loading speed compared to windows loading speed feels like forever. While I don't even see windows boot up logo how fast it is, I have to sit through the MSI logo. I didn't give it much thought since today, but now I want to optimize it somehow so my PC boots up faster in general

Check if your BIOS has a boot delay set. It's likely just waiting for a few secs to make you able to enter the BIOS. Also check if there are any "validate RAM" or similar hardware check settings are enabled.

But some boards are just dirt slow with POSTing, there is little you can do about that.

it's modern, gaming mbu, so I doubt it's that. gonna check the options now

Everything needed to quick boot should be in the bios menus, if you have such a bios.
Logo/Splash screen can be turned of, USB can be ignored, and any other settings your board has.
Mine has USB, General, and Video Optimization's.

I searched the bios, and only thing I found was MSI fast boot, but it was under windows settings(my BIOS has that section for some reason, it only has 2 settings in it, or 3 if MSI fast boot is disabled), so IDK if it's for faster BIOS loading or it even furthermore makes win load faster. as explanation it says that USB devices won't work while booting, so I guess it disables that check, so probably.

overall it does seem faster after turning it on, but not so significant improvement.

Is your Windows install a UEFI install? Or is it the standard kind (MBR)?
