MSI GeForce GTX 1070 GAMING vs MSI GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X?

Im having trouble of which one I'd want to get, they are both relatively similar in specs but i need your guys help to pick the best one out of these two so i dont regret not getting the other one instead lol.

ive already seen that video, i know the 1070 gaming x is far better but im talking about the regular 1070 gaming compared to the 1060 gaming x. i appreciate you helpin tho!

i would recommend the 1070.. 1060's are gettin a bit long in the tooth if you catch my drift..

i would like the 1070 gaming x but im not ready to dish out $800 on a gpu just yet lmao. but, so the stock 1070 gaming would be a better choice compared to the 1060 gaming x since its a bit newer?

$800?? who the heck is selling a 1070 for $800? they are only like $450US New.. i bought a used 1070 for my son's PC that i gifted him on his birthday for $350AUD..

and yes the stock 1070 would be miles above even a heavily overclocked 1060

i was talking about the GTX 1070 GAMING X 8G which is $800, not the regular GTX 1070 GAMING 8G. The 1070 without the X is $450

but like i said i dont wanna spend $800 on the 1070 GAMING X 8G, even tho its better than these two im looking at. so right now im debating on getting the stock 1070 GAMING 8G (~$450) or the 1060 GAMING X 6G (~$450)

get a 1070 for $450 if thats aud
else a 1660ti is a better choice for less

The 1070 will always be better than a 1060 no matter the factory OC it comes with.

they are 2 different versions

why are you so fixated on the X part of the name? it just means it comes factory overclocked a little.. there is nothing special about them and it certainly doesn't justify the huge jump in price you speak of.. there shouldnt be more than a few bucks difference between them. they are exactly the same
