Whats a good cheap option for a motherboard that supports 3000mhz ram, intel 8th gen processors and cpu overclocking?
Right now I have an Asus Prime H370-PLUS motherboard that limits my 3000mhz ram to 2666mhz and from what I hear you can't really overclock a cpu with it so I wanted to know what a good option for an Intel 8th gen, 3000mz ram and cpu overclocking supporting motherboard that I wouldn't have to extensively grind for would be. Any answers will be appreciated. My cpu is an i7 8700K btw sorry I should've specified earlier.

Cause you must use Z type chipset to support higher ram, like z370/z390. Good option would be... z390 mobo, 9600K or better cpu, 2x8gb 3200

just get the Z series version of what you already have.. its only a few bucks more and supports up to 4000mhz memory
