I'd be looking to try a different Power Supply.
But i wouldnt use it for gaming.
Next would be to make sure your computer fans are not plugged up with dust and or pet hair and are spinning as they should especially your CPU cooler fan. Heat can also cause the issues you describe. I'd start with those 2 things before spending money. Get a can of compressed air if needed and blow your fans out, even the ones on your GPU. Try to hold the fans from spinning if you can as the super high RPM's caused by compressed air is not good for them.
Those are only standard drivers
Customized Drivers for his motherboard would need to be downloaded from the boards manufacturer.
But they'll do the trick to see if thats the problem.
Chances are its the RAM or Powersupply though.
And if MSI did happen to mess with the sound drivers which I highly doubt that'd be even more cause to suspect the sound drivers.
Also OP what did you use to test the memory, windows built in tester or something like memtest.
Now with the sound driver, I reinstall with the newer version of realtek and waiting to see if the crashe/freeze happens again. Will get back to you if it happens.
The ones from the OEM part maker are the same; they are usually also older. Cause they will cease to update as often, or as long. Generally 1-2 years after hardware release, then that is all.
By memtest I meant a program off the internet that has been the standard for memory testing for years. Windows memory diagnostic just does not stress the memory fully and thus may not give accurate results.

Here is a tutorial on how to install and use it if needed. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/14201-memtest86-test-ram.html
They say at least 8 passes but just running it over night or over night and during the day while you are at work or school will be plenty I have found.
Keep in mind to use a new or USB flash drive you do not mind losing what is on it as it will be erased. So a new one or one with something on it just temporarily move it all to your hard drive or something.
