Also that is a very nice high end board; why put 2133 RAM on it?
And thanks, I have no experience overclocking to be honest with you.
Quite honestly, I'd get better RAM; such as 3200
2133 is for the most basic of Motherboards, where that is basically all that is supported.
Seems such a waste of Board to use those on it.
ASUS Maximus VIII Extreme
4 DIMM Slots
• 1 DIMM: Supports one module inserted in any slot as Single-channel memory configuration. Install the module into A2 slot for better compatibility.
• 2 DIMM: Supports one pair of modules inserted into the same color slots as one pair of Dual-channel memory configuration. Install the modules into A2/B2 slots for better compatibility.
• 4 DIMM: Supports 4 modules inserted into both A1/A2 and B1/B2 slots as two pairs of Dual-channel memory configuration
Please test them one at a time. Wouldn't be the first time one within a kit was faulty.
Have the system powered off, but have the PSU main/standby power ready, press and hold MemOK button.
E.g. My DDR4 runs at 1.425 Volts, and had to be installed a special way.
That'll answer anything regarding the RAM specs, timings, voltage...
The voltage is listed as 1.2V, Unbuffered.
Corsair model number is CMK32GX4M2A2133C13
Could have one faulty.
Also, did you try Reset CMOS on the board too?
