Red dots appear in my screen sometimes

Hey, i recently saw some flickering red pixels in games like CSGO when i use them in 4:3, changing it to 16:9 fixed it but now in another game, Insurgency (( a semi tactical shooter )) i have some red flickering pixels in 16:9, they are usually in like corners or like edges of things. I don't know if it is my monitor, i downloaded the new Nvidia drivers and nothing helped i will give my specs (( sorry for the bad english )).

i7-3770K
Geforce GTX 1060 6GB Rog
16 GB of DDR3 Kingston Ram
2 SSD one of 465 GB and other of 237 GB

SOLUTION: The problem was the cable that connects the monitor with the computer. Thanks to everybody that helped.

What is the native resolution and aspect ratio of your screen? Have you done any overclocking on your graphics card? If you take a screen shot or record gameplay footage, do the dots show up in the picture or recording?

try a different monitor or vga/hdmi/dvi/dp cable

if it doesnt show in a screenshot its the monitor

My native resolution 1920x1080, i didn't do any overclocking and when i take screenshot and see it oustide the game it doesn't appear

thats pointing to the monitor then, try a different one

how old is the monitor?
could be bad caps on the main or tcon boards if its over 10 years old

the computer is from 2013 and the monitor from 2012 but it has some things improved like the graphics card, the ram and storage. I think that it could be the drivers or the cable because it doesent happends always.

Same here. Most of the time I find it's either a heat or voltage issue to tweak.
