The 2600X does offer a similar performance and beats the Intel in multicore performance while being quite a bit cheaper.

Is there any AMD CPU's that does some what simular performance like the i5-8600k?

Ryzen 5 2600x is cheaper and nearly beats out the i7 8600k

See if the RX 570 fits in your budget. This card can be picked up for basically nothing right now. Also check if there are any good deals on the GTX 1060 6gb, the next gen 1660 TI is replacing it so the old ones are going on sale.

Ryzen 2600x, it has worse single core performance but completely destroys the i5 in mutli core performance.

The 2600x is still a more than solid alternative to the 8600k. The 5FPS difference you may get is not really noticeable.

The Ryzen is a lot cheaper, I wouldn't even consider buying these low-end Intel CPUs. You will be paying $100 more for 5fps extra in a few games which can't utilize the extra threads the Ryzen offers.

Yes, 16gb 3000mhz
