A ^ much better psu $35 after MIR.
If you're not in a rush keep an eye peeled for the seasonic 620-650w on sale they can be $42ish.
Ps, what bad psu have you got now?
a really bad PSU espacially for such a high price
+1 totally agree, cheaper and much better quality.

I get ya ^.
Usually a good psu is able to operate up to 50c where mid range psus 40c which is what the evga KR is.

There's another middle of the road psu that'll do fine ^ but try to get a seasonic if you can.

Here is a better PSU the problem I had with PSU and motherboards going out is power surges, fix that with UPS Battery Backup.

Cooler Master MWE 500 Watt Silencio Fan, Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply
A psu will be moved from build to build by the most part a 650w psu would cover a lot of variations in the new GPU/CPU line so to go with cheap minimal may not be the best choice because most bronze psus are usually at their top efficiency at %50 usage.
Buying a psu shouldn't be over thought just get a good one that'll cover you for numerous builds 2-3.
Usually I grab psus on sale for dirt cheap but my main psu the seasonic 850w a silver rated has been through 3 builds and probably will be going for a 4th in the next year so that original $109CAD saved me money and has been worry free even through the mining craze.
...All modern PSUs on the market come with a 24-pin connector because it's the standard connector for powering a motherboard. Seriously, just stop.
Also, cheaping out on a PSU is one of the worst things you can do. It's best to not get anything less than EVGA SuperNova or SeaSonic FOCUS.
stick with one from tier A (or tier B if desperate)
