There is probably some way to get the ports work at the same time I believe, but that involves modding the drivers, not something that can be done easily.
it will only use the igp/apu on the mobo/cpu not the dedicated gpu
get a dp/dvi to hdmi adapter
Does you graphic card have any other ports unoccupied? DisplayPort maybe? If so,get a DP to HDMI adapter, that will solve your problem.

a = analog only
d = didgital only
i = digital and analog
dual link = 2x the bandwidth of single link
Connect every device to the dedicated GPU card, not any video ports on the Motherboard.
If you need more then one HDMI, connect the VR to hdmi, connect the TV via DisplayPort via a DP to HDMI adapter to the gpu and connect to tv via hdmi male to male cable
