Netflix sound delay and YouTube stutters only over HDMI with TV 1060, 7th Gen I7
I have come across multiple threads speaking of 10 series GPU's and 7th gen i7 in laptops having issues with video playback when the Integrated GPU is doing the work and then outputting over the Nvidia GPU's HDMI port.
I have a 1060 and 7700HQ all latest drivers and 1803 update for windows but still have the stuttering really bad. Has anyone found a fix?
My laptop screen will still be playing fluid video while the TV it stuttering and freezing. Mouse still moves fine, this is a bug to do with Windows.

Cheers

laptops with nvidia gpu do not have a output driven by the nvidia gpu
the intel hd is the only thing attached to the displays

when gaming or using the nvidia gpu the results are given to the intel hd frame buffer to be displayed

the intel hd is more than strong enough for 2d and video decoding
will be fine with browsers and video playback without the nvidia gpu

try winkey+p and set it to only output to the tv/hdmi not the display

When the rendering is done by the Intel GPU the issue is present, if I completely remove the Intel GPU from the question it fixes the issue completely? I'd assume that the external outputs are directly off the GPU as it indiactes in Nvidia control panel.
Have you tried a different HDMI Cable?
