If you have such a big input lag, it's not caused by the refresh rate.
this is widi lag
I'm not using a wireless display.
I'm not using a broken mouse.
I just went from 240hz down to 60hz.
I agree with him, may not be noticeable to most people, but honestly, when I'm moving my mouse around on a 60hz monitor, it feels ages behind what I'm actually doing. And it's skippy as ♥♥♥♥.
And, when typing things, if I'm typing fast, I can actually see the letter pop up way slower than on 144hz.
After using a 144hz monitor, I can say I'm NEVER going back to the trash that is 60hz.
And before you say my PC is 'broken' too, it's not. Because I had both of them hooked up at the same time, tested on both monitors at the same time.
Same here. I use a 144 Hz monitor and 60 Hz monitor, and there is a noticeable difference.
I happily play on the Nintendo Switch as well and my favorite game on there is Breath of the Wild, running at an "unplayable" 30 FPS on a 60hz screen.
There is a difference but not a difference that ruins playability. That would be like comparison of a Bugatti and a Civic... That Civic is just undrivable, right?
So you're going to feel detached (And the delay from the wireless controller anyway.)
It's not going to matter if you've got 60hz or 144hz, you're not going to notice so much because of the form of control.
As for the 60hz screen of the switch, I have one, and I almost exclusively run it docked when I play things, so it puts most games to 1080p60fps, and I've got it plugged into my 144hz monitor, and it's actually quite enjoyable, I can't say I've had any problems with it.
And personally, anything below 50-55fps really hurts my eyes, strains them, gives me headaches, makes them really itchy (inb4 get your eyes tested.)
So (personally), it does ruin the playablity for me, just like Xbox and PS4, I can't play them because of the framerates, not because of the refreshrate of the display I've got it plugged into.
