Yeah M.2 NVMe drives are purely Raw IOPS
970 EVO and 970 PRO are both NVMe
for me anything that extends the life of the part is beneficial.
So I chose the Pro SSD.
860 evo (1TB) is rated for 600TBW, which should last at least a decade for most ppl.
I still have an old 840 evo which is rated for 75TBW and i only used up about half of that in the 2 years that i used it as my os drive, before switching it to a steam drive...
So yeah, dont worry about lifespan and get the evo.
my mother board don't have the m.2 slot so nvme ssd isn't a option
