optimal GPU for A8-5600k
It's 2014 again, guys! In all seriousness I can't find modern information on this mattter.
To put a simply I just don't want a bottleneck. Costs and avaibility comes second. Having a reference in the first place would be nice.

Thanks in advance
Specs:
AMD A8-5600k @ 3,6ghz
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Asustek F2A55-M LK2
Thermaltake Munich 430W

Something like a 1050Ti, should be cheap to get.
I wouldn't really bother investing money in that thing.
Get a new PC, even the cheapest AMD Ryzen beats a high end AMD FX or any AMD Bulldozer APU.
While I agree, I don't have the money, so a cheap GPU have to do it for now. and thx I'll look it up

There always is bottleneck somewhere in PC, and usually more than one. But when it comes to graphics cards - just buy whatever your money can buy. If, for example, your CPU can draw only so much frames - you can use excessive GPU power to turn up graphical settings, antialiasing, resolution. It's basically how consoles work these days - they manage to drop below 30fps in many games due to weak CPU, but they can run games in QHD/UHD due to powerful GPUs.

Careful with that PSU. It doesn't seem to be a trustworthy unit.

budget?
which games?

i had the same cpu and it really does not matter if your gpu is too powerful for the cpu as stated by snow... probably a gtx 750 ti or gtx 660 or something like that would be the "match" for that weak cpu...

Yep, after doing very long and exhausting research myself I pretty much came to the same conclusion: Something around GTX 750 Ti

Getting that stuff though lol.
I settle with a RX 560. a bid overkill, but the best price/performance I could find so far

(ASUS AREZ-RX560-O2G-EVO for 100€)

Probably need to upgrade the PSU.

Anyways. Thanks for all the advices. I think the case is closed

Whichever card you get - you can always move it to your next PC, and use your APU build as HTPC.

On the old amd cpus like your athlon don't use amd gpus they have too much driver overhead use Nvidia.

IMHO, any low grade 750ti gpu is going to be money thrown away if you swap out the 5600k some day, I'd still aim for the 1650super if you have the idea of swapping out the a8 5600k sometime next year or two.

Back in the day I hooked my A10-6800k APU to an R7 260X and it worked fine. Sure the cpu bottlenecked in pretty much any Bethesda game that used the Creation engine. But the driver overhead issue was never something I noticed (I even recorded game playthroughs using that setup).

The RX 560 is a good choice to pair with an A8-5600.

I had my own experiences with an A10-7860k and an R9 270X. It wasn't the greatest but at the time it ran most modern games at medium very well

Fallout 4 ran on the high preset very well though

I have, x4 640, x3 450, x4 965BE, x4 940, FX8350 x2, Ryzen 2700x.

I have 8800GTS640MB, GTX280, GTX1060 6GB, GTX1070, HD6870, HD6850, R7 265, R9 280x, Rx 580 8GB.

I'll say it again, you do not want to put amd gpus on old amd FX and before CPUs.

You can have all hardware in the world, but you still can't give advice based on 2015's experience in 2020.

His 5600k is an Athlon no matter how you cut it.

I give up on the subject as the parrots tend to tire it out...
