(MOD PLEASE LOCK) What's a good 500$ PC build for gaming?
After asking around about upgrading workstations into gaming PC's , I realized and eventually came down to the conclusion that if I need a gaming PC , I have to build one myself and have a modern system.
So instead of asking in the previous discussion I created here I decided to create a new one.
So what is a good build for 500$? I live in Bulgaria , so I hope I can get in the 500$ price range of the parts.
Generally speaking , Im aiming to play games like Apex Legends , R6S, GTA 5 on 1080p.
I only need a keyboard and a monitor.

I also looked in Omega's pc build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Yk3qNq , but I really want to try add a GPU and a better CPU in the price range of 500$.
Is it possible?

I have no idea what you are saying.
Read the aforementioned quote, then it'll make sense.
I don't know what you are talking about. As I said, it is not harassment. To consider it harassment, someone has to send many messages while others said to stop much time. Please don't argue with me. It is not help OP.

500 dollars is a reasonable budget, especially if u know what your doing, i build and sell my rigs at cost to help my fellow gamers, i dont even usually go that high, the last i sold for 500 had 1080ti and i7 8700 in a strix board and a corsair hx1200i, corsair ram lol, i would reccomend buying used as,youll get much more value

If you're being serious, then I'm shook.

That's such a waste of time and money when you gain zero profit return from it (The 1080 Ti alone can cost at least the majority of that PC price when used), especially when the PSU is way overkill. Bless your heart, but seriously, at least make it Ryzen so there's even an upgrade path beyond 9th gen Intel, and for the love of god, use a lower wattage HX.

They'd be happier with Ryzen 5 or 7 because you at least get a 2~3 generation upgrade path out of AM4 motherboards. With Intel you're lucky to get even more than a 1 generation upgrade path, and the upgrades with Intel are tiny, so you're basically stuck with a brick once it's outdated.
I dont use ryzen cuz the datacenter i work at doesnt give me free ryzen, most datacenters use intel chips, im serious but i dont have to pay for most parts usually only a gpu, its fine to overspec a power supply, most of my rigs get a 750 watt platinum but most of my rigs are rx 570 with good supporting hardware , honestly its not really at cost more like i make a hundred bux to make it worth my time n still own the budget market in my area

It is a good deed then.

No ♥♥♥♥. It's a recommendation to lower the cost so the good deed is less costly and easier replicated without risking his financial situation. Anything can happen, and the extra money overspent can go a long way if something happens.
First off i dont see how giving the kid with only a few hundred bux is negatively affecting the local market, established professional techs know theres tons of money to make for them , yes maybe difficult for another builder but i have a real job and can help a few people a week and yes i have it like that to just give away a thousand dollar pc and not blink , its much harder on the kid with 150 dollars to play pc games than it is for a telented tech to make money, the other similarly priced pcs in my area are like an fx 8350 throttling in a 960 board with a 1050ti, if those guys dont sell it ever i did a good dead just off that, theres one other local budget builder hobbyist guy and we actually work together, recruited when i couldnt fill everyones need, send him free parts n he builds good pcs and we all make money, people drive several states to buy from us sometimes, and my financial status is stable multi millionaire and not changing no matter how many pcs i build, but when i was a kid i loved cs 1.6 but could not afford a pc , so yea, i sell awesome rigs and help people, people who were once just like me
The hx series and other high end psu are used in one of the datacenters i own, after a few years they get replaced, ive made my money on it by then, instead of throwing it out i reuse it for gaming , yes itd be overkill but its always good to overkill the psu, less likely to fail, most of the money in my builds is cosmetics and gpu, sometimes even that free , prob a better idea than an old psu that can barely power it really , yes in a 500 dollar 1080ti rig the kid had bout what the gpu costs, just bought 70 rx570 to use , anyone need a 150$ pc with an i7 and rx570?
And my point was theres ppl like me everywhere, tech nerds love to help, he can at least get a 1070 on a 500 budget, prob a 1080 or something if someone who knows what theyre doing is around, sold another i7 8700 rig tonight, 1060 in this one for 200, all i got right now is an old i7 quad with rx570 posted for 150, total potato but its still awesome for 150, gotta post it for 200 and as having an i5 just to keep the resellers off it lol
Gtx 1070 Ti is maybe 120-150$
Your correct its a good deed, knowing my situation of making 3.5 mil a year after taxes, consistently for the past 20 years ,its ok to hook up a few kids with pcs who otherwise wouldnt be gaming very well

Yeah, I wouldn't act like I knew your financial situation. Policeman taught me. Sorry about that.
He also mentions he needs a keyboard and a monitor, i would try to find at least a freesync monitor, preferably 144 hz, assuming his pc is decent, and likely it will get upgraded at some point, i see alot of new players dont realize it matters too, but the pc budget is tight , u can find used monitors around 100 bux
Looking at the parts list i think u can do better, ryzen 5 2600x costs about same as 2200 says it does there, u could find better prices on sale or used on some of those parts n get an rx580 or something along those lines, i looked on ebay and the r5 2600x costs 120 like the 2200g, then just scrape together enough for a gpu, maybe find a used 600 watt off ebay for 40 bux, go with cheaper ram, used mobo n u got an rx 570 at least. That should beat 2200g gpu i think? U always save buying used, i think thats your best bet if u want bette spec on that budget
In my experience ebay is pretty safe, if something doesnt work as it should u can make the seller take it back and pay the return shipping so ppl tend to try not to sell broken stuff

That's pretty generous then. Not enough millionaires and billionaires partake in such things

Not sure if it’s a good idea to reveal how much you make online.
But if you’re actually a millionaire, well kudo for you then.
Theres alot of ways to approach the ops question, looking at his parts even i rarely pay what pc partpicker prices are, i paid 2100 for my 70 rx 570s thats 30 each, maybe 40 if they dont all work so i know the kid could at least shave 40 off just doing used or sale parts on a few things and then buying a used ryzen 5 2600x for 120 same as 2200g , i would reccomend ebay as its pretty safe just make sure item says used not for parts/non working if it says used its guaranteed to work as it should, and i offered to help him at least, what i make is relevant because the guy didnt know i can practically give away psu that i could just sell for a few hundred bux , when u have my kinda money seeing a kid smile or see his pc for the first time and literally cry then text u thank you messages for the next month everyday feels alot better than another hundred bux
