Something keeps stealing my computer's focus
Lately my computer will randomly lose focus on whatever I'm currently using. If I'm playing a game, it'll just minimize. If I'm on a browser, I need to click on it to use it again.

I've used some software like process explorer and windows focus logger to try and pinpoint what it is, but nothing comes up.
Anytime I alt f4 to close whatever it is, nothing shows up as closing on project explorer. Whenever the focus shifts away, nothing shows up on focus logger.

It seems more like the computer is just losing focus rather than a program is stealing it.
Any idea what I need to do to fix this?

I tried going into safe mode and running malwarebytes and came up with nothing. The problem still persists

Worth noting: The last change I remember making to my computer in anyway since this problem started happening, was I changed my wallpaper. I used to have a slideshow of pictures and recently decided to change it to just one. Not sure how it could be involved, but this only started happening after that.

I've disabled all the startup items I don't need, the problem still persists though.

Try looking in Event Viewer when it happens.
When I had this happening to me years ago EV was showing an error in a background process was going on at the times it would happen.

sometimes i lose focus because my mouse wanders, have to drop dpi when i leave game which is easy because switcher is right behind wheel. maybe your driver is acting up.
