The GTX 2060 super and rx5700/XT are the cards to target for 2020/21.
1660Ti is what I was considering for my next upgrade.

Rx 580 ^ ya it manages to keep above 40fps high settings but wouldn't you want the Rx 5700 instead.
Sure if $100-$150 is a max budget the Rx 580 is it but it would be better over all to skip the cluster of lower mid cards for an Rx 5700 to stretch into 2021 as J Seeds wants.
Ps I have both Rx 580 and GTX1070.
Not really. RX580 can actually run RDR2 without too much issues. In fact, the game favor AMD hardware more than NVIDIA hardware. Probably due to console configuration using AMD hardware I guess.
Or you can wait for RX 5500. But there is no any reliable info about this card yet.
