Considering it also lacks DisplayPort, makes me wary.
No idea if that thing has a gaming mode to reduce input lag. Which would be the real dealbreaker.
But from what I heard from some other boards that European tv's have 50HZ but also compatible with 60HZ for gaming. It's more of an argument, and I have no clue which side is right.
But for PS4 and PC gaming it will be 60HZ, correct?
60Hz will be downscaled to 50Hz, will all the disadvantages that comes from it.
I see.. Well in that case I shall look for 60Hz instead.
All new big brand TV's in Europe should support 60Hz or PAL60.
I've not seen recent TV's for the UK and Europe that don't. I would say if in doubt google the model number and look at the manual.
Is this a blast from the past? NTSC and PAL have gone and they are gone for good. Although there are still remnants of this standards in the current digital age.
The TV should be able to process a 60 Hz signal.
In the worst case you can setup a custom made video signal output for your grafics card with 50 Hz.
As i've said, all over the internet people are conflicted about this and it makes the decision all the more hard and confusing.
