Nvidia gtx 1060 code 43

Processor 2.20 GHz
RAM 16 GB DDR4 SDRAM
Hard Drive 1 TB hybrid_drive
Coprocesseur graphique nvidia geforce gtx 1060
Chipset Brand nvidia
Marque Asus
séries ROG
Numéro de modèle de l'article GL504GM-XS74
Système d'exploitation Windows 10 Pro 64
Poids de l'article 2,4 Kg
Processor Brand Intel
Flash Memory Size 256 GB

Je n'avais pratiquement rien installé encore à part quelques jeux Steam, des photo\vidéos perso et les mises à jour recommandées.

Merci de vos suggestions

Typically, code 43 means either faulty drivers, or faulty GPU. First of all go into safe mode, use DDU to wipe everything related to NVidia, and try to install drivers that came with the laptop on a disc, or download drivers from laptop's manufacturer's website. Sometimes for some weird reason official GPU drivers don't work or work in weird ways on laptops, so that's important.
Is the laptop still under warranty?

It's brand new! Got it 4 days ago. Problem is I got it on the black friday sale on Amazon and they only offer to give me a refund saying that they don't sell it anymore. It's better than nothing but appart from that problem, I liked it and I would have a lot of trouble finding the same specs for the same price. I would prefer to find a solution or exchange it but option #2 doesn't exist.

Just return it back to place of purchase, the gpu is dead. They have to replace the laptop.

Yeah, thanks for your time. I'm pissed cause I bought it from amazon and they only offer the refund. They say they stopped selling it and the independant seller that is still offering it is asking more than double what I paid. So all the black friday deals are over and I'm back to square one. FML

Then go through ASUS Support

Well, when you see something more than twice cheaper than it should normally cost - there often is some kind of catch. From the sound of it, this particular laptop previously had such issue, they refurbished it, and then sold it cheap hoping it would work or you won't come back.
Refund is indeed your best option, if you didn't manage to get GPU to work again. Although there is one other thing - if that laptop indeed was refurbished/used, but was sold to you labelled as "brand new", this is a crime, like a big time. So, if this exactly what has happened and you can prove it - you might end up with more than enough money to buy a way better laptop. should you bring that to seller's attention. After all, new laptops don't usually die after few days of usage, and they don't get 50%+ discount for no reason at all.

It's not a crime. It's all on tge buyer to research and have understanding of what they are buying. But a refund wouldn't be a problem since it is through Amazon

It's not a crime.
It is in my country, it is in the US - chances are, in most countries selling refurbished/used as new is crime as well.
Federal truth-in-advertising law, administered by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, requires that refurbished and reconditioned items are properly labeled. This means that a seller cannot describe a returned or refurbished item as "new." Where a seller advertises a smartphone as new, for example, and in fact it has been used and refurbished, he could face criminal fraud charges, fines and jail time, if your local prosecutor deems the case worth pursuing.

If it's new just register it through asus support and talk with them. Or get a refund from Amazon. That's your choices.

Amazon refunds are very easy, and Christmas sales are 2 weeks ahead so don't worry too much.
