The cable is indeed connected and I'm using pulseaudio.
Does the output jack show up if you open alsamixergui?
log-level=debug is disabled.
alsamixergui shows "Master" and "Capture".
(P.s. Never used alsamixergui before)
I'm not really an expert in manual configuration, but aplay /f and /F and alsa-tools-gui should list all your devices and jacks and you should be able to retask jacks with hdajackretask if Front is detected.
The thing is that even if I plug the headphones in the case the Master output still plays on the speakers (mobo jack). Also, both aplay /f and aplay /F doesn't work.
Was the first thing I tried, didn't work.
Looks like the case-to-mobo cable wasn't all the way in, now everything works as expected.
