RX 570 4gb low Fps on Gta V?

i bought an rx570, gta v on high settings only runs at 30-40 fps while witcher 3 and other games run at 60+, there are videos on youtube with this card where gta v runs at 80+ fps, any ideas why? i have
i5 3470
8gb ram

1. Did those systems getting 80+ have the same exact hardware?

2. GPU driver version could have something to do with it.

3. More RAM and a better CPU will help, most i5s only have 4 cores and 4 threads, and GTA V has been known to have issues with them half of the time.

4. The RX 570 wasn't really made for high settings in every game, it's an entry level card that's better suited for medium settings

5. Can also be the game version, as Rockstar sucks at what they do. Half of the time, their games are broken and buggy, and perform pretty awful. *coughs*RDR2*coughs*

If the hardware is the same, it's more likely a software related issue; bad driver version for GTA V, or a Windows related issue.

i have windows 7 i dont know the same rame i dont know where to see it

8GB DDR3-1600 (get another 8GB)
RX 570

Also you're going to want to upgrade to 10, 7 lost extended support in January and will not receive any more security updates, so your system will be at risk. The only users of 7 that get updates are professional and enterprise users (aka businesses) that have to pay Microsoft for continued security updates.

I didn't say Windows 7 is causing it, but it's still best to get to 10 because it's the only Windows OS receiving updates.

Reduce all CPU-intensive settings to minimum. Grass, draw distance, extended draw distance, population density and variety. Also turn off MSAA, tessellation, extended shadows, and put soft shadows to either "sharp" or "soft".

I was running an i5 3570k, GeForce 970, 32GB of RAM, and a SSD and at 1080p on high settings I could dip into the 40's at default high settings. My system was better than yours in every way.

I am thinking you're doing a bit of rounding, where you've found an example where your GPU is in a system getting that performance but you're maybe ignoring some of the difference and details between what their configuration was and what yous is.

Well the only issue I can recall from personal experience is using the Custom radio on a quad core. For some reason the in-game MP3 player was absurdly CPU intensive and could easy cost 10-20 FPS. Turn custom radio off 60FPS, turn it on 45FPS.

So that's my advice, don't bother with the Custom radio unless you have a more modern CPU or an i7 or better.

It is true that the game runs slightly better on green cards, but that's just it, slightly better. RX 570 can easily pull over 100 FPS on high settings FHD in GTAV

Some settings need to be lowered or disabled as they eat the fps count..can't remember but fxaa or other one cripples it

It's the other one indeed, which is MSAA. It basically renders parts of the image in higher resolution, hence the performance drop.

Still 80-90FPS on very high with RX 570. I'm convinced it's either CPU-related, or a software bug.

What driver version are you on? Chance it’s most likely driver because I noticed some report with RX500 series having issues with Adrenaline 2020.
