The processor is underneath the fan, and you don't need to take it out to clean it.

Just get compressed air and blow out the fan and heatsink, should be fine. If you take off the cooler itself, the processor IHS will need to be cleaned off and have new thermal paste applied or else heat won't transfer as well as it should and it'll be more likely to overheat
just get a few cans of compressed air, or use an aircompressor to clean out the case and its fans/heatsinks/vents
Compressed air, cans or an electronics compressor for the heat sink and fans. If fans are quite grubby with hard to remove dirt remove them taking note or photos of how they were. Then brush, wipe, them clean.Don't worry about anti static brush when cleaning the fans. Just hold their metal clips and ground yourself on a metal table leg, radiator before you reattach them to the heatsink.

Don;'t bother removing the heatsink from the CPU if you don't have any thermal paste ready to reapply.
Just blow out all dust. Takes like 5 mins to clean out a typical desktop fully. All you need is a cheap AC powered handheld air blower. Like the ones that look like mini leaf blowers.
Purchase a can of compressed air.

Open open side of the PC case. Spray in short quick 1-2 second bursts, with multiple directions. Focus the heat sinks and fans. The dust will ball up into dust bunnies and leap out of the case. You don't want to hold it down and pressure the dust in deeper, but rather loosen it out. It should only take a moment. Wipe with a lint-free cloth any excess dust now sitting on the surface. Vacuum the area outside of the PC case, never inside.

I recommend buying a handheld AC powered blower like Bad Motha recommended. It's cheaper in the long run and better for the environment.
Buying compressed canned air to clean desktops is such a waste, save that for doing laptops. And one can isn't enough to do a desktop cleaning effectively, plus they don't have much power behind them. A powered blower would pay for it self considering what canned air costs and all the waste you produce in the end. A blower and some paint brushes is all I've ever needed to be honest. Unless it's a PC owned by someone who smokes indoors, but that's a whole different story.

I personally tried the DataVAC and it was useless in comparison. Doesn't clean all the dust.

It's not quick/short bursts. Makes your PC fans spin like crazy. Not high-powered enough to move the dust effectively.

However, if you do use something like that, ensure it's "ESD Safe" (electrostatic discharge safe) at least!

Hmm, you just hold the fan and blow the dust, very simple.

I never used DataVac
I have a shop vac (too expensive for most) for when I take apart all my components. Holding 1 blade on the fan helps resolve the spinning issue.

The METROVAC Datavac Electric Duster is rated one of the best and is designed specially for PC cleaning. I had to import it from America. Turned out to be useless, overheating rubbish.

Stuff like DataVac and Compucleaner get rid of the most of the dust, but you're never going to get everything out. Some things you have to wipe down, like stubborn dust on fan blades.

Canned air won't do any better on that, and it adds a lot of recycling. From my experience, the compucleaner is better than canned air.

That's what the brushes are for. They even help you wipe down the inside of the fan all around where you can't reach with a cloth, etc.
